Tianjin University Malaysian International Students Visit Rianlon for Corporate Open Day Event

To further deepen university-enterprise cooperation, broaden international students’ career horizons, and help Malaysian international students gain in-depth insights into the development status and talent demands of Chinese enterprises, the School of International Education, Tianjin University organized a group of Malaysian student representatives to visit the headquarters of Rianlon Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Rianlon) on the afternoon of June 18 for the "Visit Rianlon" Corporate Open Day activity. Li Qiang, Dean of the School of International Education, Yang Xiaorui, Vice Dean, Sun Chunguang, Vice President of Rianlon, and Sima Lifeng, Assistant to the President & Director of Human Resources, attended the event together.

In-depth Corporate Tour, Joint Discussion on Development

At the opening of the event, Sun Chunguang extended a warm welcome to the faculty and students from Tianjin University, and elaborated on Rianlon’s development history, core businesses and global strategic layout.

Subsequently, Sima Lifeng delivered a special presentation on Rianlon’s Malaysian operations. She highlighted the progress of Rianlon’s investment and construction in Malaysia, future development plans, and job openings for international talents, outlining clear career paths for the students present.

Open Forum for Targeted Talent Matching

The open forum session featured a warm and harmonious atmosphere. Drawing on their academic backgrounds, international students raised active questions regarding career planning, adaptation to cross-cultural working environments, and skill upgrading. Rianlon representatives responded patiently and shared workplace experience and suggestions with real cases. Both sides held in-depth discussions on how to leverage international students’ linguistic and cultural strengths to support Chinese enterprises’ global expansion, reaching positive consensus through interactive exchanges.

Building a Platform for Effective Communication

All participants took a group photo to mark the end of the activity. This "Visit Rianlon" Corporate Open Day marks an important initiative for both the university and enterprise to deepen the integration between industry and education and improve employment services for international students. Through on-site visits and face-to-face exchanges, Malaysian international students gained intuitive experience of the innovation vitality and talent philosophy of Chinese enterprises. Meanwhile, the event established a pragmatic and efficient communication platform for the university and enterprise in talent training, internships and employment.

Moving forward, Rianlon will maintain close collaboration with Tianjin University, boost exchanges with young talents, help international students enhance their professional competitiveness to achieve high-quality career development, and contribute to economic, trade and cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries.
